Explore three ongoing polyethylene project scopes and four completed KMS projects across oil and gas, petrochemicals and energy.

Polyethylene quench and ethylene fractionation columns

Construction of columns for phase 2 of the integrated gas chemical complex for polyethylene production. Work started in May 2026 and covers welding of shells, cones, support skirts, internal supports, nozzles, flanges and lifting attachments. The columns are 400 inches in diameter. KMS work is scheduled for May–September 2026.

Polyethylene complex process piping

Piping fabrication for phase 2 of the integrated gas chemical complex, starting in May 2026. Reported productivity exceeds 1,000 inches per day, with 87 personnel including 42 welders working around the clock. Processes include GTAW, SMAW and FCAW, with stainless steel up to 24 inches and carbon steel up to 48 inches in diameter.

Bolashak BVS 1, BVS 2 and BVS 3 piping repairs

In January–February 2026, KMS repaired piping at operating block valve stations BVS 1, BVS 2 and BVS 3 on the pipeline connecting the Bolashak oil and gas treatment plant to the plant processing, transferring and fractionating LPG from Kashagan. The work involved Inconel 625 piping in 1-inch and ½-inch sizes.

Kyzylorda combined-cycle power plant piping

Installation of process piping and supports, pipe welding, and flange assembly and tightening for the new combined-cycle plant in Kyzylorda in December 2025–January 2026. KMS completed 1,709.5 inches of work in 12 days: 155 pipes, 160 welded joints and 50 bolted connections. The scope included low- and high-pressure lines and silencer installation.

Integrated gas chemical complex: polypropylene

Fabrication and installation of process piping and structural steel for phase 1 of the integrated gas chemical complex in Atyrau Region in 2020–2022. KMS delivered 120,000 inches of carbon and stainless steel piping up to 84 inches in diameter and erected 3,000 tonnes of steel across four key units. More than 4,700 personnel participated over the project, with over 1,100 on site at peak. The scope included turnkey delivery of 50,000 inches of fire-fighting piping for the automated product warehouse.
